Committee FAQs
What does the GBFC look for in a candidate?
The Committee welcomes anyone who has an understanding or passion for removing barriers for disabled people and anyone who approaches volunteering with inclusive thinking and/or lived experience. You can read more about what we look for on the call for new members page linked below.
When does the committee meet?
- Every second month (6 times per year)
- The 4th Wednesday
- 3:00pm – 5:00pm EST (Eastern Standard Time)
Where are committee meetings held?
Either:
- In person at Guelph City Hall; or,
- Virtually through Microsoft Teams
There are opportunities to meet at other locations as well! Meeting locations will be determined and confirmed in advance of the meeting so everyone can attend.
